A Free Documentary about Tropical Permaculture

Recently, while working at Rak Tamachat Permaculture in Thailand, I had a unique opportunity to be involved with an incredibly exciting project. A chance to impact thousands, if not millions, of people across the globe with the seeds of permaculture design.

In February of 2012, the documentary film makers of AHOOHA joined us on the site of our burgeoning new permaculture education and demonstration farm, Rak Tamachat, in central Thailand. Their intent was to learn, film, and share with the world, the seeds of permaculture. After producing the film Freedom Ahead in 2011, these excited and passionate film makers recognized the great potential of permaculture design.

Soon after Freedom Ahead was released they set out to raise enough money to begin the production of their next film. This time, they intended to not only make the documentary packed full of valuable permaculture knowledge from some of the most creative and inspirational permaculture teachers in the world, they intended to make it free to the world!

That’s right, with your help, AHOOHA will release this film under the Creative Commons License and make it available for free! Truly a powerful way to embody the ethics of permaculture… and one that I am excited to support and take part in!
